BOOK RELEASE: Afro’s – A Celebration Of Natural Hair

Over the course of five years, Michael July, a professional photographer, writer & DJ based in Brooklyn, wrote a book titled “Afro’s – A Celebration of Natural Hair”. He asked numerous people to be a part of it by asking them to be models and his goal was to chronicle the evolution of the Afro in America.

Unfortunately, I’m late to the party and recently heard about this book of his despite him announcing a party, having a KickStarter, and a Facebook page. But, I’ve got a ton of respect for him and will definitely show him support by purchasing the book.
